Gaia Foundation Seed Saving course

The introduction course will run on Zoom over two Saturdays:
22 January and 26 February 2022    from 11.00 - 14.00

We want to make the training as accessible as possible to all. Tickets are available on a sliding scale £30 full price, £15 half subsidised, and free for those with little to no income. Please select the payment option that suits your situation best. Please take note that there are 10 of each ticket type available and they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

The introduction course will be a gateway to our year long Intermediate seed saving course.

  • History of seed saving in the UK
  • Pollination
  • Isolation distances and techniques
  • Fitting seed saving into your rotation
  • Case studies of two crops

The first indoor market of 2022 is on 22 January, and the weekly outdoor market continues as usual.

Refreshments will be provided at the indoor market by Culbokie Community Trust.
